I don't know why I love this necklace, but I do. It was made with the basket weave cane that Klew teaches, and I had planned to put together a normal length (18") necklace with some chunky beads. Then I found these wonderful acrylic faceted black beads in various LARGE sizes, and I ended up with this! The necklace is 50 inches long, with lots of big beads and would look great long with a black dress, or doubled as a nice mid length necklace.
Well.....it started this way! Saturday was not an ideal day at YDF. It was HOT! 96 degrees! People were walking along like they didn't know what they were doing! LOL! Too hot to stop and buy, too hot to try on jewelry....(well, not really!!!) But at 6:00 PM there is a downpour~! It rained so very hard. My Dh was trying to get the cash register inside the tent (it is official "dead"), and put the sides down on the tent....I am scrambling to get my display busts away from any incoming rain. They are very nice, and very expensive, and something I would not want to replace. We are rushing around like crazy,,,,,,,,,and there were people in my tent BUYING THINGS!! A sweet young girl with a $5.00 pair of earrings, a couple of girls were buying bracelets, AND SOMEONE bough the 50" necklace during that time period!! LOL!! Some one took it home with them......
sometimes rain is good........
